Historical Curiosities

Dionysus, Bacchus for the Romans, was a deity in Greek mythology who represented the awakening of nature, ecstasy and dance. Often depicted in poses that embody his joyous and wild nature, he was the God of wine and mystical inspiration.

He was also famous for the cult of Dionysus of the Greek era. It consisted of exaltation and madness and saw the bacchantes or maenads performing wild dances and wearing animal skins. Dionysus was the emblem of pleasure and joy but also of disorder.

Maintenance

To keep your marble sculpture always shining, it is important to clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For a more thorough cleaning, use warm water and neutral soap, avoiding aggressive chemicals that could damage the marble surface. Always dry with a clean cloth to prevent the formation of streaks or water spots.
